Trial of Dem chief is delayed

A much-anticipated trial pitting veteran Brooklyn pols Democratic Party chief Clarence Norman and District Attorney Charles Hynes against each other has been delayed, officials said.
After more than a year of probes by Hynes' office, his prosecutors and Norman's attorneys were supposed to begin jury selection for the first of four indictments against the county leader yesterday.

But Hynes asked Supreme Court Justice Martin Marcus to adjourn the case after key prosecutor Kevin Richardson came down with a lung ailment.
